As we approach winter break here are some important reminders:
1. Early Release on Thursday, December 21.
- All campuses will have an early release at 1 pm.
- Lunch will be served prior to early release.
- Buses will be running at 1 pm for transportation.
2. Winter Break Closure:
- Ponder ISD campuses will be closed from Friday, December 22nd through Monday, January 8th.

Ponder High School appreciates Army and Navy recruiters for visiting campus yesterday and answering student questions.
Ponder High School will offer the ASVAB for interested 10th- 12th graders on January 18, 2024. The ASVAB is an aptitude test that measures developed abilities and helps predict future academic and occupational success. Students may register in SchooLinks under events.
It's time for the December Update from our nutrition provider, Taher. Learn more about stress eating and all the great things that are happening in cafeterias across our district! Thank you to our cafe staff that always takes care of our amazing students! #OnePride
Don't Be Cold This Winter!
Grace Pointe Church is hosting "COATS for the COLD" this Saturday (December 2nd) from 9-11 am. There will be food, a bounce house, hoodies, coats, and blankets of all sizes offered at no cost.

Reminder! This Friday, November 10, at 9 a.m., Ponder ISD is inviting all of our veterans to take part in a drive through parade beginning at the football field. At the conclusion of the parade, our veterans are invited to attend a program at Ponder Elementary for coffee and donuts!
Please RSVP by November 8 by calling 940.479.8230. Our guests can begin lining up for the parade at 8:45 at the football field. We can't wait to see you all there and thank you for your service.
