Please join Ponder ISD and Ponder Elementary School on Friday, November 10 as we celebrate our local heroes. Veterans are invited to take part in a drive-through Veteran's Day Parade. The students of PES will line the street and cheer as you drive through past. The parade will begin at 9 a.m. and last until 9:45 a.m. on November 10.
Following the parade, we hope our veteran heroes can join us in for a short program in the PES gymnasium. There will be coffee and donuts to enjoy as well.
If you plan on taking part in the Veteran Parade, please RSVP by November 8 to 940-479-8230. On the morning of the parade, we ask that you meet at the Ponder High School football field in the first parking lot closest to the concession stand by 8:45. The football field is directly across the street from the elementary. This will be where the parade begins and ends. We can not wait to honor each of our Ponder veterans.
